Public, unauthenticated file processing is easy to abuse. Signing in lets us attach the job to a workspace, apply fair use, and keep the rest of your 8om tools in one place. Wave 2 will make more of these flows public; Wave 1 is honest about the login step.
Pick the tool by the job
Need a smaller photo for a site? Reduce image size. Need a count for a form? Word counter. Need a document in another format? Use the PDF tools rather than screenshotting pages.
Then go back to the real work
The file is a means. The site, the QR, or the campaign is the end. Keep both in 8om so you are not downloading from one tab and uploading to another vendor.
